John Cavedo, Army Col. (Ret)

For a half decade, Colonel Cavedo served as President and CEO of Plasan North America, Inc. (PNA), starting as the VP of Programs and Business Development to overseeing all aspects of the company’s performance and growth in North America. As CEO, John managed a workforce exceeding 100 people, steering the company through many strategic initiatives. Notably, he orchestrated the consolidation with sister company Plasan Carbon Composites, Inc. (PCC), and guided both companies through the “pandemic era.”

During his time at PNA, John collaborated with two Washington D.C., consulting firms to navigate the intricate realm of congressional advocacy, briefing numerous members of Congress and resulting in a specific National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) mandate and a $10M Congressional Program Increase for a PNA prototype system.

In January 2024 John branched out and founded 360 Enterprises, a consultancy focused on the Defense Industrial Base and has grown his client base to more than ten companies ranging from small 8(a) Engineering companies to Health and Human Fitness efforts, to Network and Radios, all the way to very large DIB OEMs and Prime platform providers and integrators. This new role has provided invaluable insight into how different companies operate and leverage resources to achieve DIB goals.

Prior to his roles with commercial industry, he accomplished 30 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Army, John’s roles spanned from a Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha commander to Project Manager of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV), and ultimately Chief of Staff for an Army Program Executive Office. He brings a wealth of leadership, strategy, and program management experience, in addition to holding a Master of Science in Strategic Studies, a Master of Arts in Procurement & Acquisition, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
